Mandurah Surfer, Tod Quartermain is one of Western Australia's most exciting up-and-coming surfers. Winner of numerous WA State Titles, Tod has an exciting future oozing style and combining it with power and flare. Yallingup surfer, Alfy Cater is an experienced big wave surfer who has also proven that he can mix it up in smaller waves. Alfy, a previous winner of the Oakley/ASL Big Wave awards is a vital component of the Star Surf+Skate team. Ian Macpherson completed his high school years at Mandurah Senior High and not long after graduating ditched his further studies to chase his surfing dreams. Over the years Ian has traveled overseas surfing throughout Indonesia, Hawaii, Micronesia, Fiji and has also surfed his way around the Australian Coastline. In his early years, Ian had a solid crack at competitive surfing on the Australian Championship Circuit (ACC), chasing his dream of becoming a professional surfer. Ian decided to throw in the towel and teed up with close friend Matt Wilson, setting a new goal of creating and owning the best Surf Stores in Western Australia, Star Surf +Skate. Today, Ian is a highly experienced retail businessman and his knowledge along with help from business partner Matt Wilson, have assisted the like-minded pair in successfully achieving their goal of owning the best surf stores in Western Australia. In 2009, Macpherson was crowned Surfing W.A State Champion (over 35yrs).

Chad Jackson is one of Australia's best and most explosive Free Surfers. Proudly a Western Australian born child, Chad has quickly progressed throughout the years and is now highly regarded and respected amongst the world body boarding community. In November 2009, Chad took out the Rebel Sport IBA National Bodyboarding Pro.
At 24 years, Chad has already achieved much success, featuring on numerous cover magazines, and staring in the very popular Tension Body boarding series, where ever the waves are best, you will more than likely find Chad and a team of foaming photographers, who are there to capture every movement Chad makes.
With all the experience Chad has gained over the past few years of free surfing the massive variety of heaving waves scattered throughout Western Australia, Chad is at a stage where he is now ready to take on the International tour.
B Team
Jake was born on the 4th July 1994 in London UK, he moved to Perth in 2001 and has spent the last 8 years on his board, summer and winter stopping only to play footy for his local club and school.
In 2008 Jake competed in the EBB State series, commencing part way through the season and finishing with a rating of 7th in WA. In 2009 he competed again and improved his ranking with a 5th rating finish in the Junior U16 category. In the same year, Jake took out the exclusive W.A PSA Body board competition. He regularly boards along the Perth coastline, with favorite local spots Gravis & Trigg and on the road Jake frequently charges some of the best waves in our states South West.
