If you're looking to kit out your grom with some quality neoprene for the cooler months, the combination of performance factors and an affordable price in the Reactor range is hard to look past. O'Neill's 'Fuidflex' neoprene seems like it's custom made for use by junior surfers with a durable finish that's resistant to wear and tear from velcro pulls and general day-to-day scuffs, but gives performance-esque stretch. That means efficient paddling in a wettie that's intended to last.
O'Neill have also opted for flatlock stitching in their reactor line as a way to bolster the durability factor. Although this style is less effective than say a GBS seam at water sealing, you can expect multiple seasons from it when cared for correctly thanks to the way the stitching loops interlock.
